황력 2018년. 제로가 일으켰던 블랙 리벨리온은 검은 기사단의 패배로 끝났다. 단원들은 잡히거나 흩어졌으며 에어리어 11은 교정 에어리어로 전락해 강압적인 교정 통치가 강행되기 시작했고 브리타니아는 다시 E.U.와의 전쟁을 시작했다.

그 와중에 기억을 잃은 채 애쉬포드 학원의 평범한 학생으로 졸업을 준비하던 를르슈는 어느날 남동생 로로와 함께 내기 체스를 하러 갔다가 검은 기사단의 잔당과 조우하게 된다. 그리고 재회한 C.C로부터 기억을 되찾은 를르슈는 자신이 브리타니아로부터 감시받고 있다는 사실을 알게 되고, 검은 기사단을 재건하여 다시 복수를 하기로 다짐하는데...
